Mino ware is a potato produced in the Tano region of Gifu Prefecture, Tajimi City, Toki City, Zuinami City, and Kago City. It is one of the largest pottery production centers in Japan, and it accounts for about half the production of ceramics in Japan. Due to the variable nature of the kiln and flame conditions, the texture of the product may vary from one to another. Great for entertaining or gifting as well.
